The panel PC DC2 is a rugged, fanless and maintenance-free human-machine interface (HMI) for interactive applications in transportation and industrial automation. It is designed for panel mounting and equipped with a 10.4" 4:3 LCD TFT display with a capacitive touch panel. The DC2 is controlled by the Intel Atom XL Z520PT running at 1.33 GHz and comes with 1 GB of DDR2 SDRAM and a built-in 2-GB microSD card. The standard interfaces comprise 2 Fast Ethernet (via RJ45 connectors) and 2 USB ports as well as four binary inputs (via the 10-pin power supply connector). The two Ethernet interfaces have switch functionality to provide Ethernet connection to subsequent intelligent displays. A temperature sensor is provided to monitor and controlthe display. All I/O signals are concentrated at the bottom of the unit. The DC2 is equipped with an internal 10 V to 36 V (12 VDC nom. or 24 VDC nom.) wide-range power supply and able to operate in a -40°C to +70°C environment (+85°C for 10 minutes). It complies with the EN 50155, class Tx railway standard when used with an optional includable PSU suited for railway applications. All electronic components are soldered to withstand shock and vibration and prepared for conformal coating. The unit's control electronics are directly attached to the back of the display, hence bigger screen sizes or other aspect ratios can be realized easily. Further options include other types of the Intel Atom XL processor, M12 connectors for the Ethernet interfaces, a serial interface or GPS adapter that can be added via an SA-Adapter, HD audio via a D-Sub connector and an antenna connector. M79 Profibus DP Slave Interface M-Module The mezzanine card M79 is a Profibus DP interface M-Module (slave) based on the Infineon C165 CPU. The mezzanine card M79 M-Module is a Profibus DP (Distributed Peripherals) slave interface based on the Infineon C165 CPU. It is thus an ideal interface solution for intelligent remote I/O applications via a very popular fieldbus standard. The C165 CPU handles communication with the host CPU via the on-board shared DRAM. The advantage of this Profibus implementation is that the complete Profibus protocol stack runs locally on the M-Module with very reduced interaction of the host CPU. The RS485 Profibus interface (9-pin D-Sub) allows selectable transmission rates from 9.6 kbit/s up to 12 Mbit/s. The optically isolated interface is supplied by an on-board DC/DC converter. The output is short-circuit protected. The M79 comes with 512 KB local Flash, 1 MB local SRAM and 16 KB dual-ported RAM. Profibus slave functionality comprises initialization and termination of slaves, additional status information on output and input data as well as security services such as DP applications checked by a user watchdog or a protocol stack monitored by the application. The Profibus firmware consists of the true Softing protocol stack. The corresponding driver software comes from duagon and complies with standard Softing tools. It supports configuration of the M79 for each application in a very convenient way. The driver is based on MDIS ( Modular Driver Interface System) which makes the M79 ready for use under Windows, Linux and RTOS environments. The M79 is based on the M-Module ANSI mezzanine standard. It can be used as anI/O extension in any type of bus system, i.e. CPCI, VME or on any type of stand-alone SBC. Appropriate M-Module carrier cards in 3U, 6U and other formats are available from duagon or other manufacturers. M54 DC Motor Controller M-Module The mezzanine card M54 is a motor controller M-Module that is suited for all types of motors that have a ±10V DC control input. The mezzanine card M54 is a motor controller that is suited for all types of motors that have a ±10V DC control input and that can provide a position feedback information using an incremental encoder (e.g. servo motors). The motor controller componenton the M54 is able to move a motor to a specific position at a specific speed. The PID values for the controller can be defined by software and thus be adapted to the motor used. In addition there are eight binary inputs and two binary outputs, which are isolated from each other, from the analog output and from the system. The M54 is based on the M-Module ANSI mezzanine standard. It can be used as an I/O extension in any type of bus system, i.e. CPCI, VME or on any type of stand-alone SBC. Appropriate M-Module carrier cards in 3U, 6U and other formats are available from duagon or other manufacturers. 1 LM628 supported channel For every motor type with ±10 V control input Position and velocity operation Quadrature incremental encoder interface PID values programmable RS422 or TTL, ±10 V, 1 relay output Additional binary I/O Optical isolation Not conforming to RoHS
