This allows you to protect yourself and your project as effectively as possible from the effects of disrupted supply chains, rising memory and chip costs, and regulatory requirements.
Product-related services are often an integral part of our standard products. For products tailored specifically to your needs, you can add these services individually or as part of attractive packages. In addition to these services, we also support you with various engineering and software services for rail applications and, upon request, develop customized hardware solutions that are precisely tailored to your requirements.
Our product care services
You can integrate our products on your own. But why take the risk of encountering unforeseen obstacles that lead to frustration, annoyance, and wasted time?
That’s why you should book support with us—because teamwork always leads to better results.
Even the most robust hardware can be damaged in the field. duagon's global repair network gets your units repaired, and back in operation quickly—wherever you are.
Cost-effective and sustainable: We refurbish your products from end-of-life fleets for use in new vehicles and upgrade them as needed. We use tested components from irreparable equipment for repairs that would otherwise be impossible.
Has production of your product been discontinued, and did you miss the deadline for final orders? Even years later, we’ll check on your behalf to see if a special order and custom manufacturing are still possible—and at what cost.
We label hazardous substances in our products and disclose supply chain information in accordance with applicable law. If you or your end customers would like more detailed information or need the data on a specific portal, we would be happy to handle the disclosure on your behalf for our products.
Obsolescence and stability
Buy yourself some time: We monitor your products at the component level and notify you well in advance of official product end-of-life announcements if the availability status of components used in your product changes. This gives us more time to work together to find effective solutions. A must, especially for certified systems.
Will your product no longer be available in the future because components at the component level have been discontinued? Upon request, we can stock a sufficiently large quantity of the affected components shortly before they are discontinued and use this inventory to continue manufacturing your product for longer than would normally be possible.
Depending on the components used, a product may have different warranty periods for various parts. With the extended warranty, you can standardize the warranty period and extend the warranty term.
Secure stable product prices and availability for a specific period of time, so you’re not affected by supply shortages or price spikes. A must for professional project management.
Secure your supply chain in the unlikely event that we have to cease operations. We store strictly confidential production data with a trustee so that, in the event of an emergency, you will have access to it and can continue production elsewhere.
Software, cybersecurity, and CRA
Does your product need to follow a specific startup sequence, display logos, or show user interfaces in your corporate design when it boots up? Our UEFI and BIOS experts will be happy to implement these requests.
When processors behave differently than specified in the technical specifications, manufacturers issue errata sheets. We’ll regularly check for you whether your products are affected and, if necessary, develop proposed solutions. This is a must, especially if you use our standard products for functionally safe applications.
Our current standard products meet the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). For products that we have custom-manufactured to meet specific customer requirements, we offer the option of conducting a retroactive review to determine whether they meet the CRA requirements. Upon request, we will work with you to develop proposed solutions to ensure compliance.
Wherever software runs, vulnerabilities can arise. We therefore monitor our standard products in accordance with the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). For products and software components that we develop specifically to meet customer requirements, we are of course happy to offer this service as well—including prioritized patch development.
