Applications
The RIO3 I/O modules support applications like Passenger Vehicle Condition Based Monitoring, HVAC Control Systems or onboard controls for fire protection, power packs and doors. Flexible Design for Railway Subsystems
If the standard PC3 does not cover all I/O needs for your configuration, duagon can create a RIO3 Remote I/O module, which will work as slave system and will communicate with the Master Controller via a RS485 isolated port. RIO3 is also suitable when is more convenient to allocate the I/O module close to the actuators in the train configuration.
I/O Modules
To create the RIO3 Remote I/O module, up to nine PC3 I/O modules can be selected and combined. Once you have chosen your configuration, the RIO3 is quickly manufactured resulting in a railway compliant product. Our wide range of certified off-the-shelf modules are listed in the following table. If your requirements are slightly different to our standard product offering, we can provide our ISO 9001 accredited design services to customize the RIO3 Remote I/O module to suit your application.
