Secure Ethernet Gateway - Security by Design
The D527 Multi-Ethernet Secure Gateway offers Fast Ethernet capability in a small form factor. The device includes up to four interfaces according to IEC 61375-3-4. This rail-certified dual-core gateway platform resolves system integration challenges on the communication protocol level.
The D527 supports TRDP and many other train communication network protocols which can be adapted to fit project-specific protocol extensions and also provides maximum availability by supporting redundancy protocols including RSTP and MRP. Moreover it contains a flexible and configurable 4-port switch and is ready for a dual-homing setup.
Enhanced Security Capabilities
The D527 is powered by duagon OS which has been developed according to IEC 62443-4-1 secure design processes. The device features a range of security features including user access management, secure communication, secure event logs, and an optional integrated software-configurable firewall. The features are combined in different cyber security packages with the Enhanced package targeting SL-2.
Device Management
The D527 provides a web front-end for easy remote management such as diagnostics and configuration purposes. Furthermore an SSH server enables access to a command line interface (CLI) and an SFTP server allows direct access to the device file system.
Fully Modular Design
The gateway relies on a container runtime environment to segregate processes. duagon provides a development library for the H variant enabling customers to develop and deploy specialized applications and use centralized authentication identification and logging services with device-specific security certificate management encryption and signing services.
Ready for Rugged Environments
The D527 is designed for a harsh rolling stock environment and complies with EN 50155.
