CRA-Ready Processor Module for Railway Applications
The PM4000 is the new high-performance processor module designed as a cybersecurity-ready replacement for the PM300x in the duagon PC3 product family, maintaining full compatibility with the existing PC3 I/O and communication modules while adding enhanced security features. The PM4000 is intended for railway applications including I/O control functions, gateway functionality, and condition cased monitoring systems such as HVAC, pantograph monitoring, and door control.
Modular and Configurable
As part of the PC3 product family, the PM4000 benefits from a modular architecture that allows the base processor module to be combined with a wide range of I/O and communication extension modules. The PM4000 comes with one Fast Ethernet interface as standard; a second Fast Ethernet interface is available as an option. One of the two serial ports is configurable as RS485 by default, or as RS232 as an order option. Furthermore, the PM4000 can be equipped with an external USB port and a microSD card holder.
Software and Application Development
The PM4000 runs on duagon OS, a Linux-based platform providing modularity at the software level. Furthermore, the PM4000 supports iecTeso for IEC 61131-3:2025 application development. Custom application development by duagon is also possible.
