Description

Programmable Controller
The PC3337 is a modular programmable controller from duagon’s PC3 series, combining the new PM4000 processor module with PC3 series I/O modules that have been proven to withstand the electrical, environmental, and mechanical demands of railway vehicles in accordance with EN 50155.
Based on the Texas Instruments Sitara AM64x processor, the PM4000 makes the PC3337 CRA-ready, maintaining full compatibility with the existing PC3 I/O and communication modules while adding enhanced security features.
I/O Modules and Communication Interfaces
The PC3337 comes with one Ethernet interface as standard, with a second Ethernet interface available as an option. The two Ethernet ports support 10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX and are equipped with M12 connectors, ensuring a reliable connection. Via its integrated I/O modules, the PC3337 offers a variety of digital I/Os as well as analog I/Os. Two isolated serial communications ports are provided, one RS232 and one RS485 port.
The PC3337 runs on duagon OS, a Linux-based platform providing modularity at the software level, enabling individual components to be updated independently. Furthermore, iecTeso for IEC 61131-3:2025 application development is supported. Custom application development by duagon is also possible.
Applications
A wide range of railway applications is supported. The PC3337 is intended for passenger vehicle condition-based monitoring, HVAC control systems, onboard controls for fire protection, power packs and doors, as well as locomotive performance and condition monitoring, trackside monitoring and SCADA, and industrial control systems.
