Sustainable Information Security: duagon and Selectron Are ISO 27001 Certified

duagon and Selectron have successfully passed the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification audit. This means we meet an internationally recognized standard for information security and strengthen our position as a reliable partner for security-critical and demanding customer projects.

The certification confirms the high level of information security within Knorr-Bremse’s “Smart Electronic” business unit. Customers benefit from clearly defined processes, systematic risk management, and the consistent protection of sensitive information throughout the entire product lifecycle. For duagon and Selectron, information security is a central component of their daily work. The certification underscores our commitment to providing customers, partners, and regulatory authorities with a reliable environment for the development, manufacturing, and support of innovative solutions.

In an increasingly digitized and interconnected work environment, information security is essential because it protects this data as well as a company’s ability to conduct business. A high level of information security is particularly crucial in the electronics industry, as sensitive information—such as technical specifications and documentation, software, and product development and test data—is processed throughout the entire development and production process. At the same time, cyberattacks and targeted manipulations increase the risks to development environments, IT infrastructures, and business-critical processes.

ISO/IEC 27001 establishes a systematic framework to enable companies to meet these requirements: With an ISMS (Information Security Management System), information requiring protection can be identified, risks assessed, and appropriate technical and organizational measures derived, implemented, and continuously reviewed for effectiveness. For duagon and Selectron, information security is an integral part of corporate and development processes involving technologies, projects, and customer requirements, and is continuously refined.
